Why I use local laundry services when travelling


As a light traveler, having fresh clothes on holidays is important. Most hotels provide laundry facility, however, it comes with additional cost.
Some hotels also provide self-laundry service, where you can use their machines to wash your laundry. Being away from home on a holiday or a professional trip; I personally prefer to have sufficient time to rest. Hence, the self-laundry service does not suit me well.
I personally prefer to get my laundry done from a professional laundry service in the area. They are not only fast and reliable, but also cost efficient.
I can rely on them to have washed and ironed clothes, on time.
Also, I have a peace of mind that the job is being done by the experts.

One of the most unforgettable experiences with laundry I had was when I was holidaying in Dubai and staying in a hotel in Al Barsha. They had mentioned in the brochure that they had complementary laundry services, however, they did not mention that the laundry services come with a huge list of terms and conditions.
They had time limits to give the laundry, limit on the number of items to be washed, laundry service only included washing, ironing and dry cleaning was excluded. Phew. I had to do a little internet search and I called for Hala Laundry Services to get my suits dry cleaned.
Although I rescheduled the delivery time twice, they were very professional and accommodating. They even had an option for Credit Card payment. Overall, my laundry nightmare was turned into a pleasant experience. Kudos to the service from Hala Laundry Services
